About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service to our patients and customers. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Analyzing patient eyewear needs and recommending specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames
  • Assisting patients in selecting frames and ensuring they are coordinated with facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions
  • Ordering and dispensing eyewear accurately and professionally
  • Assisting patients with proper frame repairs and adjustments
  • Showing patients how to insert, remove, and care for their contact lenses
  • Assisting Optometrists with case histories and screenings
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school graduate or equivalent
  • Maintain a license as required by state
  • Ability to work with patient eyewear needs, including analyzing prescriptions, repairs, and adjustments
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to read and write at a high school graduate level
