About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at American First Finance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with merchants, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchant Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  • Sales Pipeline Development: Create and maintain a sales pipeline of quality prospects in the territory, identifying new business opportunities and closing deals.
  • Store Visits and Sales: Visit 8-10 stores a day, signing up 10+ new merchant partners a month, and consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals.
  • Accountability and CRM Utilization: Be accountable for meeting sales targets and utilize American First Finance's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track progress and optimize sales strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum 1 year of demonstrated success in an Outside B2B Sales position, with a proven track record of achieving measurable goals.
  • Highly Driven and Motivated: Must be highly driven to exceed performance expectations, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Excellent Organization and Integrity: Possess excellent organization skills and uncompromising integrity, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Face-to-Face Selling Experience: Excellent face-to-face selling experience is a must, with a proven ability to build relationships and close deals.
  • Self-Motivation and Sales Pipeline Creation: Must be a self-motivator, willing to create your own sales pipeline and drive sales growth.
  • Relationship Building and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal/external constituencies, such as Marketing, Training, Trade, and Sales Operations, to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurance: Maintain a valid driver's license and car insurance for travel within assigned territory.
  • B2B Sales Experience: Extensive experience in B2B sales presentations, negotiation, and closing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in retail consumer finance, merchant services, or SaaS.
