Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Commercial Insights team in Oncology. This role will play a vital part in generating actionable insights that inform commercial brand strategy through market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead market research and competitive intelligence for ORGOVYX, including planning, development, vendor selection, and data analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence tactical plans to enhance marketing, sales, and market access offerings.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, including negotiating costs, onboarding, and project execution.
  • Prepare key deliverables, such as situation analysis and market assessments, to keep stakeholders informed and identify knowledge gaps.
  • Lead the development of deep dive analytics to provide a thorough understanding of brand performance.
Requirements
  • BS/BA with concentration in Life Sciences, Business, Public Health, or related field experience; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data analytics required.
  • Oncology experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging data and insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills and sense of teamwork and collaboration required.
What We Offer

Sumitomo Pharma America offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary range of $157,300 to $196,600, merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, and leaves provided in line with your work state.

We also offer unlimited paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter.

Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education, and other factors permitted by law.
