Key Responsibilities:
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
  • Facilitate the registration process for all new vehicles in the relevant state.
  • Prepare tax and title documentation.
  • Submit all legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Confirm that funds have been collected prior to processing title applications.
  • Manage paperwork efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive list of all outstanding title work.
  • Stay informed about county and state title regulation requirements.
  • Understand deadlines and apply appropriate urgency to tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy office environment is required.
  • Previous experience as an automotive Title Clerk is preferred.
  • Experience with automotive accounting or CDK is advantageous.
  • Active Notary Public certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Effective communication skills are required.
  • Must be team-oriented and comfortable in an open office setting.
  • Applicants must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background & drug test) is necessary.
