  • Engage in quality improvement projects and participate in training related to safety and infection prevention.
  • Conduct patient assessments and laboratory tests, document findings in electronic medical records, and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
  • Provide patient escort services, assist with discharge processes, and oversee inventory of medical supplies.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited organization within one year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
  • Additional experience or relevant degree may be necessary for specific roles.
