About the JobWe are seeking a qualified Mental Health Counselor to join our team at our Franklin K. Lane location in Brooklyn, NY.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis position will involve:
- Providing individual and group counseling services to students in grades 9-12.
- Developing and implementing workshop series on topics such as academic achievement, attendance, and socio-emotional learning.
- Collaborating with the parent coordinator to provide mental health resources and workshops to parents.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A master's degree in counseling or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a school setting or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
