About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Services Assistant Manager to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our staff, ensuring that food quality standards, inventory levels, and customer service expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Account Manager in maintaining records of income and expenditures, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Provide leadership and support to the dining services staff, ensuring that food quality standards, inventory levels, and customer service expectations are met.
  • Assist in training, quality control, and in-servicing staff to meet HCSG standards.
  • Effectively communicate all directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Specialized training in food service management and nutrition is desirable.
  • Two years of experience in quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision experience are desired.
