Job Title: HostWe are seeking a charismatic and attentive Host to join our team at T.G.I. Friday's. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet Guests: Welcome guests warmly and make them feel at ease, ensuring a positive first impression of our restaurant.
- Seat Guests: Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference.
- Inform Guests: Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them, ensuring a smooth handoff to the service staff.
- Answer Calls: Promptly answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
- Manage Flow: Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times to incoming guests if necessary.
- Tend to Special Needs: Tend to special guest needs and requests, ensuring a high-quality service experience.
- Influences: Identify and handle special needs or requests from guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Expedient Seating: Ensure expedient seating of guests, prioritizing their needs.
- Follows Service Standards: Follows T.G.I. Friday's service standards for greeting guests.
- Consistently Meets Responsibilities: Consistently meets the key responsibilities and accountabilities outlined above.
- Guest Satisfaction: Achieve high guest satisfaction scores, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to carry natural conversations with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
- Menu Knowledge: Must be able to read menus and understand guest requests.
- Clear Communication: Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as understand requests for assistance.
- Teamwork: Must be able to clearly communicate guest needs to wait staff, bussers, managers, and other team members.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to hear well in a loud environment, walk and stand during entire shift, and reach, bend, stoop, and wipe as needed.
- Passion for the Guest: Creates a seamless guest experience by being the face of the door, welcoming guests, and enthusiastically meeting their needs.
- Communication: Keeps the lines of communication positive, open, and productive, ensuring a smooth experience for all guests.
