We are seeking a charismatic and attentive Host to join our team at T.G.I. Friday's. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet Guests: Welcome guests warmly and make them feel at ease, ensuring a positive first impression of our restaurant.
  • Seat Guests: Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference.
  • Inform Guests: Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them, ensuring a smooth handoff to the service staff.
  • Answer Calls: Promptly answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
  • Manage Flow: Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times to incoming guests if necessary.
  • Tend to Special Needs: Tend to special guest needs and requests, ensuring a high-quality service experience.
Key Decisions:
  • Influences: Identify and handle special needs or requests from guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Expedient Seating: Ensure expedient seating of guests, prioritizing their needs.
Measures of Success:
  • Follows Service Standards: Follows T.G.I. Friday's service standards for greeting guests.
  • Consistently Meets Responsibilities: Consistently meets the key responsibilities and accountabilities outlined above.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Achieve high guest satisfaction scores, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to carry natural conversations with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
  • Menu Knowledge: Must be able to read menus and understand guest requests.
  • Clear Communication: Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as understand requests for assistance.
  • Teamwork: Must be able to clearly communicate guest needs to wait staff, bussers, managers, and other team members.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to hear well in a loud environment, walk and stand during entire shift, and reach, bend, stoop, and wipe as needed.
