Job Title: Senior Strategic Accounts Director

STA Pharmaceutical is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Accounts Director to lead our business development activities within our CMC small molecule development and manufacturing division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase small molecule drug product, API, and intermediate sales across key accounts in the US.
  • Manage sites for key accounts and develop business development plans to increase site penetration.
  • Work closely with other business units, project management teams, and marketing to ensure coordination of efforts and good communication with all parties.
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence to track the competitive landscape in assigned locations.
  • Achieve PO targets for key accounts and record progress of business development activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in chemical or pharmaceutical development and/or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of technical, sales, project management, and/or business development experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of selling skills and selling strategies, with experience selling products/services that require longer sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior management.
  • BA/BS in Life Science (preferably in Chemistry related field), Business, Marketing, or related Technical degree, or equivalent training and/or experience.
