About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Cloud Sales Professional to join our team at Databricks. As a Start-ups Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling our cloud data platform to start-up accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present a territory plan within the first 90 days
  • Grow Databricks usage in new and existing accounts
  • Exceed activity and revenue targets
  • Track all customer details in Salesforce
  • Use a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers
  • Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Spark
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers
  • Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of closing sales experience
  • Previous experience working in a start-up and navigating its challenges
  • Prior success in big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
  • Ability to articulate intricate cloud technologies
  • Experience exceeding sales quotas
  • Success closing new accounts while working existing accounts
  • Must understand Spark and big data
  • Passion for cloud technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree
