Key Responsibilities

  • IT Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the IT division, including the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the development and implementation of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • IT Services: Provide IT services to district employees, including help desk support, technical support, and training.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of district data and systems, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with district stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students, to ensure that IT initiatives align with district goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT leadership, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Higher Education: Experience working in higher education, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this sector.
  • IT Transformation Experience: Experience leading IT transformation initiatives, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this area.
  • Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with cloud computing, including the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
  • Cybersecurity Experience: Experience in cybersecurity, including the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
