Creative Financial Staffing is partnering with a leading nonprofit educator in Randolph, MA to find a Senior Accountant.
About the Organization:
- They focus on education for an underserved group of students from birth to adulthood.
- Founded over 50 years ago, they are one of the largest providers of education for this population.
- They operate over 125 locations across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the month-end close, including posting journal entries.
- Performing account reconciliations.
- Producing financial statements and monthly reporting.
- Serving as a liaison between the General Ledger, Finance, and Procurement departments, as well as communicating with other organization department managers outside of Finance & Accounting.
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in an accounting role with at least 1 year of owning the month-end close.
- Experience with Great Plains is a plus but not required.
