The Appeals and Grievances Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient resolution of appeals and grievances within the Customer Solution Center. This position involves leading a team of professionals who handle the intake, research, resolution, tracking, and reporting of appeals and grievances.
Key Responsibilities:- Directly supervise and support the team in their daily activities, ensuring thorough investigations and timely resolutions.
- Lead the development and maintenance of appeal and grievance policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of appeals and grievances.
- Analyze and trend appeals and grievances to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
- At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting in grievances and appeals, compliance, claims, or call center.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Ability to manage and organize large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation entities and their requirements.
- Computer ease and literacy with Microsoft Office.
- A dynamic and inclusive work environment.
- A competitive salary range of $77,000 to $123,000.
