Job Title: Appeals and Grievances Supervisor

The Appeals and Grievances Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient resolution of appeals and grievances within the Customer Solution Center. This position involves leading a team of professionals who handle the intake, research, resolution, tracking, and reporting of appeals and grievances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise and support the team in their daily activities, ensuring thorough investigations and timely resolutions.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of appeal and grievance policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of appeals and grievances.
  • Analyze and trend appeals and grievances to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting in grievances and appeals, compliance, claims, or call center.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to manage and organize large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation entities and their requirements.
  • Computer ease and literacy with Microsoft Office.
