Operations Manager, Distribution Center

Ingram Content Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Distribution team in Jackson, TN. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a specific group of departments within the Distribution Center, ensuring service levels, performance levels, quality, and human resources meet daily business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and operate a group of departments within budgeted payroll guidelines.
- Coach, counsel, and develop a group of operations supervisors.
- Control and manage costs for all assigned departments.
- Analyze staffing needs and delegate work based on volume requirements in assigned departments.
- Meet established turnover objectives.
- Ensure customer service levels and CPU goals are met.
- Manage progressive counseling process and ensure all associates in assigned departments are treated equally.
- Establish back-up strategies by cross-training, analyzing volume projections, and problem-solving.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 3 years' experience in a high-volume distribution center supervising at least 25 or more employees.
- 2 years' experience working with a Warehouse Management System.
- 6 months' work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.
- Proven project management experience with a focus on driving high-impact initiatives.
- Experience in leading and participating in LEAN and continuous improvement projects, including waste reduction and 5S implementation.
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-site operations, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

- Highly adaptable to change, with a forward-thinking mindset focused on staying ahead of industry trends and advancements, particularly in automation and technology.
