Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Programming Specialist who will be responsible for developing detailed numerical control programs for CNC machinery. This role involves designing manufacturing sequences and updating programs to enhance efficiency and accommodate engineering changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prepare programs for EIA machinery.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive files containing relevant part information.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish effective work-holding techniques.
  • Modify programs directly on the manufacturing floor using machine-specific programming methods.
  • Create and process drawings to support product manufacturing.
  • Manage program revisions and control process drawings.
  • Prepare overlays for part inspections.
  • Maintain effective communication with production staff to ensure accurate programming data is shared.
  • Adhere to the company's Quality Policy and comply with all relevant Quality Work Instructions and Procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, equivalent certification, or bronze level WorkKeys certification is required.
  • Vocational training of two years is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of N/C programming experience along with related machine shop experience is required.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred.
  • A background in CNC machining is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes in the aerospace sector is a plus.
  • Ability to program, set up, and operate jobs independently, including fixturing and troubleshooting setups.
  • Advanced skills in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong capability in blueprint reading and a solid understanding of GD&T interpretation and application.
  • In-depth knowledge of G and M codes with the ability to edit programs as necessary on and off the machine.
  • Proficient in performing mid-level mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Competence in various computer applications.
