About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Rogue Fitness. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in supporting part setup in our Machining Department, including producing machined parts by programming and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate CNC machines in a safe and efficient manner to perform machine functions on metal work pieces.
  • Take apart and reverse engineer parts to ensure accurate production.
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
  • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Stop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences.
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel displays, and compare readings to specifications in order to detect malfunctions.
  • Clean machines, tooling, and parts, using solvents or solutions and rags.

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
  • Fixture building experience is required.
  • Must read G-code and have CNC programming experience.
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others.
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings to quality check work is required.
