Job Description

We are seeking skilled and compassionate part-time occupational therapists to provide home-based services to school-age children with learning and developmental disorders.

About The Role

As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct services, completing documentation, and keeping accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes, and annual reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to children with developmental disabilities.
  • Foster strong relationships with families and create a nurturing learning environment in home settings.
  • Engage with caregivers to maintain consistent therapeutic schedules.
  • Maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual paperwork, including daily session notes, progress reports, and annual reviews.
Requirements:
  • Valid New York State Occupational Therapist (OT) license and registration.
  • Willingness to provide home/community-based services in Bronx, NY, and Brooklyn, NY.
  • Availability Monday - Friday after school, with weekend availability a plus.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy to school-age children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and various language and speech disorders.
