Company OverviewThe Highland Park Community Development Corp is a leading organization dedicated to providing top-notch childcare services. As a Child Care Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our young clients.
Job DescriptionAs a Child Care Aide, your primary responsibility will be to assist the childcare team in maintaining the quality and effectiveness of our Tilden Hall Child Care Center. This includes participating in the implementation of educational activities, ensuring the safety and proper care of children during program hours, and developing positive working relationships with parents.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You should also be proficient in computer software programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CARES. A High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of clerical or administrative experience, CPR certification, and a Food Handlers Certificate are minimum requirements. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of college education.
SalaryWe offer an estimated annual salary of $35,000 - $40,000 based on location and experience.
