Child Development Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of child development theories and practices and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

The successful candidate will work closely with our research team to design and implement research studies focused on child development outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement research studies focused on child development outcomes
  • Collect and analyze data from research studies
  • Presents findings to stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA, and required obligations to parent/subject, principal investigator, research team, and sponsor

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in child development, child life, infancy, special education, family processes, maternal and child health, or related field
  • Previous experience working with children and parents in educational, hospital, or mental health settings
  • Previous research experience

Salary: $51,243.96 per year
