About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to serve as our Clinical Pastoral Educator. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Clinical Pastoral Education Program to ensure it aligns with the organization's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Mission and Group VP of Community Health and Values Integration to advance the organization's spiritual care initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with area clergy and faith-based community organizations to promote interfaith understanding and cooperation.
  • Provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, and staff, and facilitate spiritual growth and development within the organization.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise chaplains and other spiritual care providers to ensure high-quality care is delivered to our patients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Theology or a related field.
  • Five years of active ministry experience in a church or healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of the mission and ministry of the church as espoused in the life of Christ.
  • Solid standing within the community and their own church.
  • Exhibits a strong maturity for leading change and a collaborative style of management.
  • Current supervisory certification with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE).
