Job Summary

The RN Clinical Data Reviewer will work under the supervision of the Quality Integrity Program Manager to improve data quality and risk stratify populations in value-based contracts. This role will review medical records to identify gaps in documentation and provide feedback to providers on ICD-10 coding and clinical documentation integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review medical records to identify gaps in documentation and provide feedback to providers
  • Understand audit requirements and governing policies and regulations related to ICD-10 coding and clinical documentation integrity
  • Provide education and training to HCC Coding Auditors and providers on clinical documentation integrity and ICD-10 coding
  • Assist in creating educational materials for coding changes and updated coding guidelines
  • Collaborate with Population Health leadership to develop new data projects and elements for clinical and quality improvement outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or BSN
  • 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or physician practice environment
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Preferred: Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC)
