The Clinical Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in articulating and showcasing the clinical advantages of ImpediMed's offerings, while adeptly addressing the business needs of our clients. This position enhances the pre-sales experience through engaging demonstrations of ImpediMed's innovative technology and supports the post-sales process by evaluating patient clinical workflows, ensuring that our solutions become integral to care standards within healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clinical workflow necessities and strategize, coordinate, and execute plans to secure clinical endorsement of ImpediMed's products and technology.
  • Deliver best practice insights regarding product integration and usage for all clients within the designated region.
  • Promote and expand the utilization of ImpediMed's solutions across client facilities.
  • Identify enhancements to existing programs to boost adoption, fulfill client requirements, and drive sales growth.
  • Facilitate installation and provide comprehensive training to new clients.
  • Present detailed information to Physicians, Allied Health professionals, and Administrative staff, highlighting the clinical benefits of ImpediMed's technology.
  • Gather and relay feedback from clients to inform product development.
  • Offer ongoing product support to users.
  • Organize and lead virtual meetings with stakeholders.
  • Represent ImpediMed at industry trade shows.
  • Continuously update knowledge of market trends and advancements in ImpediMed's technology to maintain expertise.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance training and educational materials for clients and patients.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Product Development and Marketing teams.
  • Work alongside the Sales Department to foster program development.
  • Act as a clinical advocate during the sales process to identify potential upsell opportunities.
  • Communicate issues related to customer acceptance of ImpediMed's technology and products.
  • Ensure compliance with Vendor Hospital Credentialing requirements.
  • Safeguard the privacy and security of all Protected Health Information (PHI) and electronic PHI (ePHI) in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in delivering presentations to diverse audiences including healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, regulated environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Proficient time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and exercise discretion in all client interactions.
  • Understanding of clinical processes within healthcare settings.
  • Professional demeanor when engaging with clients.
  • Capability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences, from individual consultations to larger group presentations.
  • Preparedness to manage virtual interactions effectively.
  • Enjoyment in conducting virtual demonstrations and engaging with clients while maintaining professionalism.
  • Technical proficiency to troubleshoot issues while ensuring a calm and confident customer experience.
  • Ability to project professionalism and build rapport quickly in virtual settings.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and adherence to applicable standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of operational standards and regulations, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality System Regulations (QSRs).
  • Competence in handling PHI and ePHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a life sciences discipline (e.g., nursing, physical therapy, exercise physiology).
  • At least five years of experience in the healthcare sector.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a clinical role (e.g., nursing, ultrasound technology, physical therapy).
  • Experience in program or project management is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a life sciences field.
  • Prior experience with a medical device manufacturer is advantageous.
  • Experience in oncology and lymphedema cancer survivorship is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This is a remote position requiring candidates to have a dedicated home office setup and reliable internet access.
  • Travel may be necessary, with a requirement of up to 50% for domestic engagements.
  • Moderate physical effort is expected, including the ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
  • This role may involve access to patient PHI and ePHI, necessitating compliance with HIPAA regulations.
