Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is essential in assisting the Marketing Operations Manager by managing various administrative responsibilities and coordinating marketing initiatives.

This role serves as an excellent entry point for individuals beginning their marketing careers.

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who possesses a passion for marketing and a strong eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Assistance: Provide comprehensive support to the Marketing Operations Manager, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing marketing resources.
  • Content Coordination: Aid in the organization and upload of content for blogs, social media, and newsletters, ensuring consistency with UHSM's branding and strategic goals.
  • Project Management: Assist in overseeing and tracking marketing projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource utilization.
  • Vendor Relations: Facilitate communication with external marketing agencies, brand ambassadors, and partners, ensuring they receive necessary support and materials.
  • Event Management: Support the planning and execution of events, including promotional activities, logistical arrangements, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Data Management: Help track and analyze marketing data, preparing reports for the Marketing Operations Manager to guide decision-making and strategy refinement.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in managing social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Customer Interaction: Help manage customer feedback and comments on social media and other platforms, collaborating with the Customer Service team for timely responses.
  • Marketing Resource Management: Organize and maintain a library of marketing materials, ensuring all assets are current and accessible.
  • Internal Communication Support: Assist in enhancing internal communication efforts, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy and branding.
  • General Office Support: Perform various office duties as needed to support the marketing team, including ordering supplies and managing invoices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and manage relationships with external partners.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, advertising, or a related field.
  • Passion for marketing and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with graphic design and social media tools.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
