About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Field Service Technician II to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. As a Field Service Technician II, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our valued customers. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Your Impact
  • Diagnose and repair complex technical issues using established procedures and protocols.
  • Service and maintain designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
  • Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
  • Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
  • Maintain all technical information and Canon property assigned and provide direction to less experienced technicians.
  • Provide solutions for escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas for any territory requested.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

We're looking for a dedicated individual with:

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
  • A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
  • The ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
  • The capability to work in a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on-call rotations.
  • Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
