Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Dakota Fluid Power. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair to our customers' hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Service and repair on-road and off-road mobile equipment, as well as industrial fluid power systems
  • Refurbish, rebuild, and replace system components as needed
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required
  • Inspect and certify crane systems, as well as perform other safety-related tasks
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Collaborate with customers, associates, and vendors to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and installation of hydraulic, compressed air, and mechanical systems
  • Proficient in basic hydraulic plumbing, welding, and mechanical fabrication
  • Certified in crane inspections (preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Strong motivation and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn for record keeping
  • Clean driving record and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
