Job Summary:

WPHL-TV, a leading media company, is seeking a skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team in the #4 DMA market.

About the Role:

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local clients, identifying their needs, and creating customized sales presentations to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present ideas and information in a clear and concise manner, effectively running meetings with clients to achieve sales goals.
  • Utilize WPHL/Nexstar advertising products to prospect, develop, maintain, and grow your account/revenue base, ensuring all financial budget goals are met.
  • Cultivate new relationships and strengthen current relationships with local direct clients, promoting station/company image and perception.
  • Identify needs of advertisers and prepare customized sales presentations to maximize revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets.
  • Manage multiple creative projects throughout their life cycles and provide clients with detailed weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of selling experience, preferably in television and/or digital media.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and operate with a sense of professionalism.
  • Strong presentation and confidence to speak with decision makers.
