Position Overview
The Regional Sales Executive for Philadelphia or New Jersey will spearhead a dynamic team of sales professionals, driving consistent and profitable sales growth within the SMB sector. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the sales strategy while actively contributing to the development of a robust sales pipeline.
- Allocating clients, territories, and sales objectives to team members, ensuring targets are achieved.
- Overseeing sales operations across the designated area to meet staffing needs.
- Crafting and executing strategies to boost new merchant acquisitions and enhance revenue streams.
- Leading, developing, and inspiring the sales team, while evaluating performance and initiating improvement plans.
- Managing all stages of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals and onboarding new merchants.
- Providing strategic guidance and resolving challenges in high-value opportunities.
- Generating essential management reports, including sales forecasts and performance analytics.
- Ensuring data integrity and effective utilization of resources.
- Offering insights into market trends and industry developments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in selling merchant acquiring solutions to the SMB market, with a history of surpassing sales targets.
- A strong "hunter" mentality, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in building and leading high-performing SMB sales teams.
- A willingness to travel extensively to engage with clients and foster long-term relationships.
