Job Overview

**Project Engineer**

At Impact Automation Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our company by leading the execution of multiple projects within contract parameters to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in bid and proposal activities, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Review technical contract requirements and break down projects into smaller tasks.
  • Manage and oversee the execution of multiple projects within contract parameters to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Lead communication with customers, both verbally and in writing, including after-hours and weekend availability.
  • Chair meetings related to client projects from inception to completion.
  • Review multiple quotes for technical components and initiate purchase requisitions based on specifications.
  • Manage engineering drawings, documentation, material flow, production, and installation schedules to ensure timely project completion within budget.
  • Resolve installation challenges and assess project risks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Estimate and communicate scope changes to customers and obtain management approval for any modifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts and tools.
  • Proficient in working with electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Skilled in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
  • Self-motivated team player willing to travel and work flexible hours.

Physical Demands:

All candidates must be able to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting 50 lb boxes. Successful applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
