About the Role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores, providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and working closely with the Infectious Control department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive client and patient satisfaction scores through effective management of housekeeping operations
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Work closely with the Infectious Control department to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping operations
  • Support a diverse and inclusive workforce
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in custodial or housekeeping management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team to exceed client expectations
  • Experience driving customer service and guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and present findings to stakeholders
  • Experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Proficiency with computers and other technology
