Position Overview:

As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive array of services to our clients. This includes handling customer transactions, managing account openings and closures, addressing inquiries, and assisting colleagues with daily branch operations. You will frequently alternate between performing teller duties and engaging with customers on the platform. Your role will involve identifying customer needs and effectively communicating our products and services to convert opportunities into sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing client needs.
  • Accurately process transactions and maintain cash drawer compliance.
  • Engage with clients to assess their financial requirements and manage account modifications.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and direct problem-solving efforts to enhance client relationships.
  • Promote new business opportunities and cross-sell our products and services.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Support branch security measures and fraud prevention protocols.
  • Provide mentorship and assistance to colleagues and clients as necessary.
  • Step in for the Branch Manager when required.

Qualifications for Success:

In addition to your professional and personal experiences, you will benefit from:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial setting.
  • The ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with banking software.
  • Solid sales experience and knowledge of financial products.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and stand or walk briefly.
  • Capable of repetitive use of a telephone and computer equipment.
  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 15 lbs.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel to various branches as needed.
  • Availability to work a rotating Saturday schedule.
