Compensation and Benefits:

Client Service Responsibilities:
  • Manage client service requests and all related activities concerning Bond products.
  • Anticipate client needs and collaborate with the Risk Management Advisor to deliver exceptional service.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by management.
  • Participate in client meetings and travel as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and training of team members.
  • Conduct audits to ensure quality standards within the Bond Department.

Technical Skills:
  • Ability to interpret financial statements.
  • Familiarity with construction bid requirements and specifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and efficient use of client management systems to meet service level standards.
  • Manage correspondence and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Marketing and Negotiation:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with surety underwriters through professional submissions.
  • Stay informed about market trends and carrier preferences.
  • Demonstrate negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes by understanding the carrier's perspective.

Personal Attributes:

We are looking for candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining surety concepts to individuals outside the industry. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience in customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with multiple data management systems are essential.
