Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services to students in a school-based setting. This role involves working with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs and goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, including one-on-one and group sessions, to promote effective communication and language skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and progress, including progress reports and recommendations for future support.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans that address students' communication needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a school environment.
