Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure all assigned trips are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch Supervisor/Coordinator to collect, review, and approve data prior to submitting reports to billing or accounting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service assistance, including estimates, booking trips, and answering informational questions.
  • Develop expertise in using dispatch software to book trips and tours.
  • Assign trips to drivers, ensuring realistic travel times and optimizing driver's time.
  • Assist drivers with trip-related issues, contacting medical providers, passengers, and agencies as needed.
  • Ensure all data in dispatch software is complete and accurate to ensure On Time Performance (OTP) and driver's payroll.
  • Communicate issues via email, Teams, and dispatch software.
  • Maintain trip/tour notes for early, late trips, incidents, and accidents, documenting issues in the trip ticket.
  • Process payments in the system for credit card billing.
  • Collaborate with co-dispatchers to employ problem-solving and share knowledge to resolve issues.
  • Work with Maintenance to understand fleet limitations and assign vehicles based on passenger needs.
  • Assist with complaint investigation/resolution, including printing driver manifests and maintaining notes on conversations.
  • Provide assistance to BTB/RT services.
  • Act as a marketing representative of the company.
  • Complete all appropriate reports, validating trips, and OTP reporting.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior dispatch experience preferred.
  • Completion of driver training program.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
