Join Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) as a Civil Engineer - Asset Manager and contribute to the management of our infrastructure assets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of our civil systems, including pavements, utility systems, and storm drain systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and report on the condition of our civil systems, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for maintenance and repair.
- Develop and implement Activity Management Plans for dams, reservoirs, and lakes, as well as pavements and airfield pavements.
- Work with our shop craftsmen to develop projects and evaluate priorities, ensuring that our infrastructure assets are properly maintained and upgraded.
- Support and defend projects each year for short and long-term execution, serving as the champion expert for our civil systems.
- Collaborate with our Engineering Design Branch to provide feedback and support on projects under design, ensuring that our infrastructure assets are designed and constructed to meet the highest standards.
- 4 years of experience in civil engineering design, cost estimating, project management, and facilities maintenance.
- Experience with AutoCAD and other design software, as well as knowledge of construction procedures and building codes.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including successfully completing a thorough background investigation.
