Job Summary

The Distribution Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and support for our clients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process and input customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate with the Traffic and Operations Departments to expedite special and last-minute shipping requests
  • Provide follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
  • Verify computer-generated invoices and prepare shipping and tracing information for customers
  • Maintain damage records and back-order logs
  • Communicate customer feedback to management and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key
  • Shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in varying facility conditions
  • Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Benefits

NFI Industries offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.00/HOUR, with the potential for an additional $1.00/HOUR based on shift work.
