Position Title: Senior Application Architect - Java and Microservices

Job Overview:

As a Senior Application Architect, you will:

  • Architect, develop, and implement applications utilizing JAVA/J2EE technologies.
  • Create and design containerized Spring Boot applications, Kafka, and Microservices APIs adhering to established design patterns and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and comprehend business process requirements.
  • Provide coding expertise and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to configurations, processes, and security protocols.
  • Design and integrate RESTful and message-driven APIs (KAFKA).
  • Build applications following API standards, patterns, and best practices, including Open API/Swagger, REST, SOAP, Graph QL, Async APIs, JDBC, JSON, etc.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Practical experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Node.js, Python, and Go.
  • Familiarity with cloud Kubernetes services like AKS, EKS, GKE is a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Maven, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Release Management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write unit tests using Junit, Mockito, etc.

Additional Notes:

  • Focus on designing, developing, and deploying applications with JAVA/J2EE.
  • Emphasize the creation of containerized Spring Boot applications and Microservices APIs.
  • Highlight the integration of RESTful and message-based APIs (KAFKA).
