Position Overview

As a Senior Mobile Application Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the solutions for our Device Software team. Your expertise in end-to-end systems will be crucial as you design and implement sophisticated solutions for managing Bluetooth SMART (BLE) peripheral communications within our React Native mobile application. You will be mindful of the challenges associated with BLE communications, particularly in the context of updating peripheral firmware and ensuring reliable interactions with healthcare devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical direction for hardware/software integration, enhancing the user experience with our hardware motion sensors and proprietary pain relief devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex features and deliver essential architectural enhancements.
  • Engage in a continuous deployment culture, taking pride in maintaining code quality and supporting production systems.
  • Utilize technologies such as React Native, Typescript, NestJS, GraphQL, and AWS to develop high-performance applications.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years in software development within agile teams, with a preference for experience in remote or distributed environments.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with React Native and mobile application development for both Android and iOS platforms. Familiarity with Bluetooth communications is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to decompose large projects into manageable components and design innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to propose and implement best practices and architectural improvements.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
