Job Title: Apparel Sourcing Manager

At LT Apparel Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Apparel Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for driving cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency across our global supply chain for apparel products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy that aligns with business objectives and optimizes cost, quality, and lead times.
  • Manage the entire sourcing process, from identifying potential vendors and negotiating contracts to managing production and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Conduct market research and identify new and reliable vendors across the globe, with a focus on target regions such as Southeast Asia and Central America.
  • Evaluate new and existing vendors based on quality standards, pricing, production capabilities, ethical labor practices, and social responsibility compliance.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Oversee production and manage relationships with factories to ensure adherence to specifications, quality control standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage and analyze cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including design, production, and logistics.
  • Stay up to date on global trade regulations, import/export procedures, and industry trends in apparel sourcing.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in apparel sourcing, ideally within a global environment.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sourcing strategies that improve cost efficiency and product quality.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PLM-related software.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex data sets.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed (a plus).
  • Passion for the apparel industry and a keen eye for detail.
