Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Whiskey Red's, a leading waterfront restaurant and bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our bar and beverage sales, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Beverage Sales and Revenue Growth: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase beverage sales and revenue, while maintaining profitability.
  • Bar Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and training.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a positive experience in our bar.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of bartenders and servers to ensure excellent service and high standards of quality.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that the bar is always fully stocked and ready to serve.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing the bar's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
