Genesis Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at Talbot Apartments in Norfolk.

Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven individual with at least three years of experience as a Maintenance Technician and one year as a Maintenance Supervisor, overseeing a staff of 3 or more. Alternatively, two years of experience as a Lead Technician would be considered.

  • A strong background in Plumbing, Electrical, and Appliance Installation and Repair is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in Apartment Turns, HVAC Universal - Section 608 Certification, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Excel, Budgets, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Vendor Management, Multi-Family Inspection, QA, and Reporting is highly desirable.

Must-haves include:

At least three years of experience as a Maintenance Technician and one year as a Maintenance Supervisor

HVAC certification is mandatory

Able to pass a background check and drug screen, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Compensation and Benefits
