Freight Forwarding Growth Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Growth Strategist to drive the expansion of our perishable goods business in the USA & Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive growth in the freight forwarding sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting potential clients and industry partners.
- Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized logistics solutions for clients, ensuring seamless execution of services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with carriers & clients, maximizing profitability while meeting customer needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the freight forwarding industry - a focus on perishable goods is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the domestic and international freight forwarding market, including key players, industry dynamics, and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude and self-motivated approach to achieving targets and driving business growth.
