Responsibilities:
  • Develop engaging and informative course content on application security topics, working closely with our instructional designers to ensure alignment with our product roadmap.
  • Design and develop interactive learning experiences, such as simulations and hands-on exercises, to help learners understand complex security concepts.
  • Collaborate with our subject matter experts to stay up-to-date on the latest application security threats and trends, and incorporate this knowledge into our training content.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas where our training content can be improved, and develop recommendations for updates and new content.
  • Work with our product management team to provide input on our training roadmap and ensure that our content aligns with customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with application security concepts and secure coding practices, including familiarity with CWE, OWASP, WASC, CVSS, and related taxonomies.
  • 3+ years of professional application security experience, with a strong understanding of software development and testing.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java EE, ASP.NET, C/C++, or PHP.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and programming languages quickly and independently.
  • Experience with application security testing products (SAST, DAST, etc.) is a plus.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
