Position Overview: Soliant is looking for a committed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to enhancing students' communication abilities and will possess a strong background in working with children in a school environment.

Key Duties:

  • Assessment: Perform thorough evaluations of speech and language capabilities to determine student needs and create tailored intervention strategies.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver targeted therapy to students facing speech and language challenges, focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, and social communication.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, families, and other professionals to align therapy objectives with classroom activities and support overall student development.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure meticulous documentation of student progress, treatment methodologies, and therapy sessions.
  • Consultative Support: Provide advice and resources to school personnel and families to enhance communication skills and address speech and language difficulties.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in professional growth opportunities to remain informed about advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering effective relationships with students, families, and staff.
  • Familiarity with contemporary speech and language assessment tools and therapeutic practices.
