About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled Nursing Clinical Leader to join our team. As a Director of Resident Care Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness of residents, providing clinical care, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical care through direct application of the nursing process, perform resident assessments, progress notes, and evaluate changes in care needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, board of nursing, and other applicable regulations.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, hire, and train clinical team members, and provide performance management, evaluations, and engagement.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Minimum two (2) years LPN/LVN experience; at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
