Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative position at Summit Fire & Security is a vital role that requires excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for internal and external customers, you will be responsible for providing administrative and general office support to the branch.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer service to all internal and external customers, including greeting visitors, determining their needs, and directing them to the correct department or person.
- Work with the Billing department, Accounting, and other front-end Administration to communicate COD accounts, on-hold accounts, and other pertinent information internally and to the field personnel.
- Assist Human Resources with onsite protocol, including sending payroll prior to deadline with correct information, and preparing new hire materials.
- Process Certificates of Insurance (COI) as requested by customers, process additionally insured requests per company policies and procedures.
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail, prepare ground mail and UPS for pickup, receive, and distribute mail.
- Track and order office supplies, sending order requests to Corporate for approval and processing.
- Process customer payments and perform collection responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain office cleanliness.
- Process daily open work order reports and coordinate technicians' schedules to maximize the full shift.
- Manage the master schedule, including all technicians' schedules and work orders, for immediate review by direct supervisor and leadership.
- Resolve any scheduling conflicts, including verifying and updating account details as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- 2 years of customer service experience.
- 2 years of professional computer experience.
- 1 year of front desk experience.
- 1 year of scheduling experience, preferred.
