Job Title: Value Stream Manager

Job Summary:

The Value Stream Manager is a critical role within the organization, responsible for driving productivity and cost improvements in their area of responsibility. This leader will oversee the Production team across all shifts and the full breadth of the Value Stream, utilizing support from Production Leads and Shift Production Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of quality and direct the workforce in a way that promotes employee safety at all times.
  • Set production and operating metrics and identify and solve operational problems, including meeting customer demand with on-time delivery and quality.
  • Drive productivity projects shop-wide to ensure real cost savings.
  • Responsible for ensuring production employees receive communication and support during all phases of their career, working closely with HR to support recruiting, onboarding, career development, and training.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on employee coaching and development.
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and strong sense of self-motivation, accountability, responsibility, and bias for action.
  • ERP knowledge with a strong understanding of ERP functionality (Infor Syteline and Shop-Trak a plus).
  • Proficient with MS Suite, with advanced Excel skills for data trend analysis.
