Position Overview
The Fleet Account Manager will act as the primary contact for designated accounts, facilitating access to PetroCard's comprehensive range of products and fuel solutions tailored to customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the fuel industry along with the company's offerings and capabilities. They will be adept at creating value, providing insights, identifying new opportunities, and responding proactively to shifts in the market and industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with assigned sales representatives to support account growth and generate leads for new business.
- Serve as a proactive liaison between the company and its clients to maximize the value of products and services offered.
- Conduct ongoing customer outreach to promote opportunities and resolve issues, ensuring a positive relationship with accounts.
- Interface with PetroCard's internal teams, including Sales, Supply & Distribution, Finance, and Management, to ensure operational efficiency and integrity.
- Share customer insights and market knowledge within the PetroCard organization.
- Maintain current contracts, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with management policies; coordinate the drafting of new contracts.
- Organize and document all communications and account information in the CRM and company intranet.
- Expedite the resolution of customer inquiries and track within the CRM.
- Provide regular updates and manage tasks related to assigned accounts.
- Undertake special projects and reports as required.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in project planning, development, and evaluation, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while exercising sound judgment.
- Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; ability to apply basic algebra concepts.
- Computer literacy with demonstrated experience in Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer or equivalent).
- A collaborative team player with the ability to interact effectively across various functions and levels within the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
- A customer service-oriented mindset for both internal and external clients.
- Industry knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Ability to lead initiatives and deliver results.
