Job Opportunity

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in a crisis stabilization center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem solve, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults, adolescents, and children with diverse mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services, including telephonic and in-person support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and services.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote client stability and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • At least six months of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LMSW or related licensed clinical degree.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
