Job Title: Social Worker

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at the DASH Crisis Center. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing crisis intervention, assessments, and stabilization services to individuals, children, and families in need.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide crisis intervention services to adults, adolescents, and children with diverse mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring seamless coordination with multidisciplinary teams and external providers.
  • Provide linkage and follow-up services to clients during their stabilization period, promoting continuity of care and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making within the team.
  • Participate in routine supervision and team meetings, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or related licensed clinical degree required.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a behavioral health setting, with clinical experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for Mobile Response Team.
