Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Registered Nurse with experience in long-term care to join our team as a Nurse Account Manager. As a Nurse Account Manager, you will be responsible for customer service activities for a group of client facilities near Grand Rapids and Lansing, Michigan.

Responsibilities
  • Visits assigned facilities monthly to provide customer service and support.
  • Responsible for investigating and resolving customer complaints in concert with direct supervisor, consultant pharmacist, Quality Department, internal staff, and corporate staff.
  • Completes and submits progress reports promptly and informs facilities of new pharmacy procedures, processes, and forms.
  • Establishes positive relationships with facility administrators, nursing directors, and nurse managers.
  • Provides in-services to facility staff on pharmacy issues and provides one-on-one instruction to staff nurses as needed.
  • Performs medication storage audits, medication administration audits, Quality Assurance Reviews, and other audits as requested.
  • Assists consultant pharmacist with drug diversion investigations and assists facilities with the implementation of technology products.
  • Assists new facilities with transition activities, in-servicing, cart setup, emergency supply setup, and other tasks as directed.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Registered Nurse with experience in long-term care required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to teach adults and work under pressure.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 300 miles per workday.
